2022.01.21 11:37 BoredDesiRedditor JEE Main, NEET 2022: Likely to be delayed by a month – Experts share tentative schedule for NTA Exams
Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2022 and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2022 exam dates are awaited by lakhs of students. National Testing Agency, NTA would be conducting both the examinations. While there is no update from the agency on the date, given the situation and other circumstances, experts are suggesting a delay of about a month in the schedule of JEE Main 2022 and even NEET 2022.
JEE Main, NEET 2022 Registration Schedule: What has been said so far There are multiple reports going round. Officials had earlier suggested that NTA was planning to conduct JEE Main 2022 from March instead of February. Tentatively, the exam is expected to be conducted in March, April, May and June 2022. Accordingly, it is expected that registration for JEE Main 2022 should begin in the month of January.
As for NEET, though no official report has been shared as yet, there are reports on the internet stating that NTA was considering conducting NEET 2022 on May 2, 2022. The same report also claim that NEET 2022 registration (for undergraduate admissions) is likely to begin from February 1, 2022.
None of these reports, however, have been confirmed as yet. Officials at the Education Ministry as well as NTA have not confirmed any of the reports. Officials have called them speculative and asked all to be patient and ‘trust’ only the official website nta.ac.in, jeemain.nta.nic.in and neet.nta.ac.in.
JEE Main 2022, NEET 2022 Tentative Schedule as shared by Experts Experts are of the opinion that delay in the competitive examinations are likely and have cited two specific reasons for the same. The first being the third wave of COVID19 which the country is currently going through. The other is the upcoming Assembly Elections for 5 states.
“Interestingly, with elections in 5 states in February and first week of March, there are no real opening for conducting JEE Main 2022 in February. The only possibility could be that the examinations might be conducted in second or third week of March 2022. But, this might cause a clash with the Board Exams. A few Boards have already released their schedules and CBSE is also expected to conduct the examination in March – April. With this, it is highly unlikely for NTA to conduct JEE Main 2022 in March,” shared Mr. Kumar, who has been associated with coaching for JEE Main for over 10 years now.
Others also agreed, suggesting that it is expected that the JEE Main 2022 examinations might be conducted in April, May and June and probably in July. “We don’t know the dates yet but can see that there is no opening. If at all NTA does decide to conduct the exam in March, it would be on a very tight schedule, which could not be convenient for students.”
As for NEET 2022, experts are of the opinion that a date before June is almost not possible. “Historically, JEE Main is conducted first and then NEET is conducted. There are a few students who appear for both so the examination cannot clash either. Either way, it is likely the NEET may be conducted by end of June or early July.”
As for the official update, there is none. While dates are not confirmed, sources are hinting at mandatory vaccination for aspirants. Candidates who are interested in appearing for the examination are hence advised to keep checking the website for latest updates. All students who are eligible for vaccination are also urged to get vaccinated at the earliest.

2022.01.21 11:37 Beneficial-Moose7657 The spoilers and leaks
With the amount of Spoilers and Leaks, gameplay videos and clips, more than one person has a copy of legends. These people I highly doubt got their copies all from the same place and with a picture of a physical copy o think they dumped the game online. I have not done research to see if this is the case but in the past (I know this was Nintendo and not gamefreak) when a game was sold early and dumped online (New super Mario Bros Wii) that guy got sued. So if the person who posted the picture of the physical copy dumped the game online or a store is selling multiple copies more than a week (now a week) before release I think gamefreak is gonna get mad and sue.

2022.01.21 11:36 MysteryDryad Help in Zombies
I just got Vanguard a couple days ago and have been loving zombies. Though, I can't seem to figure out which gun is the best to use for this mode. Let alone which one I should aim for out of the box.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

2022.01.21 11:36 LightBuzzyear69 Pokemon Legends Arceus has made me hate Masuda
In case you didn't know, PLA is the first pokemon game made without the help of Masuda in pretty much any form. And...I love it! Moves like flamethrower, that used to look very unrealistic and slow, now look LIKE A FLAMETHROWER! The designs of flame-bodied pokemon include flowing, burning flames on their body, instead of awkward, bouncy skin, like Magmortar. Also, pokemon like Typhlosion, which were designed to NOT HAVE their flames while idle, now have these awesome flowing fire effects.
But hey. Even though he's the director of the games, and has been the director of the mainline series since Crystal, you could argue that the treatment of the pokemon in 3D wasn't his fault. Well then, let's look over what he HAS done. He pushed the IV system, and even pushed not letting players look at IVs in-game before Gen 7. He did this specifically BECAUSE he knew players would only use pokemon with good IVs, and didn't want them to, saying that it would "be soulless."(https://www.wired.co.uk/article/pokemon-interview) But, one guy in his 7 hour ORAS review laid out how the IV system really works.
If someone offered him his starter, or an exact copy of his starter in terms of stats, with the same EVs/IVs/Nature and Ability, he would take his OG starter, because it serves as a digital document of his playthrough, and so it means more than a copy. But, if someone offered him his starter and one that's objectively better, with perfect IVs and EV investment in, for example, physical attack instead of special attack, he would take the better one every time. Masuda's effort to make the game more soulful has accidentally made the series more soulless. PLA has changed IVs so that they don't calculate stats anymore(at least, that's what's been leaked). Think more like Let's Go. You'll be using candies instead.
And of course, who can forget that interview where Masuda says that the games are getting easier because kids only want to play phone games. (in case you actually did, it's here https://www.gamespot.com/articles/pokemon-director-explains-why-series-is-becoming-e/1100-6422945/) Masuda does this, but doesn't even add in a hard mode. Hell, if you've played BDSP, you've probably experienced the fairly good AI. I never wiped out on any battles besides Cynthia, but when I fought Saturn, he predicted a water type move from my Empoleon and switched out to his Toxicroak with Dry Skin. And, of course, the E4 rematches actually have difficulty as well, using competitive strats like Flame Orb Guts pokemon. l Keep in mind that BDSP wasn't even developed by GF. The games have gotten easier, and Masuda doesn't even add in anything to sate the more experienced players.
PLA has difficulty, as leakers have said that they've lost the final boss fight multiple times, just for example. Additionally, wild pokemon can decide to have 2 v 1s against you. The animations are cute and soulful, like the Geodude rolling down a hill in the trailers, and Alpha pokemon are awesome in concept and execution. Think of the OP, uncatchable pokemon in SWSH that would pop up when you didn't have enough badges, and think of Alpha pokemon. Think of how the Agile and Strong style system works to help take them down while making it pretty fair. That's awesome. Even the character animations look super expressive, like professor Laventon's sort of overwhelmed looks, and the protagonist's face when they are emotional is much better than the protags from SWSH. I can't reference any specific events because of spoilers, so I won't.
In conclusion, this game looks pretty awesome, and just happens to coincide with Masuda not having any relevance with it. The only two things that upset me are the removal of Abilities and breeding. Even then, some pokemon that are tightly tied to their abilities have them hard-coded in...like Regigigas :(. Even then, for the beginning of a new side series, I CANNOT wait for them to keep refining this, for regions like Unova or Johto.

2022.01.21 11:36 leetletiktoker FS/RX, do you feel like a team/have good relationships across the store?
I just started working at CVS. As FS employee I haven’t really interacted with anyone from the pharmacy. It feels like we work in separate stores across from each other at a mall rather than just separate departments/areas of the business.
Of course, this could be both Covid related and reduced staffing and lack of labor but I’m already alone for part of my shift in fs without store manager and feel completely alone even though there are other employees in the store.
This scares me as a female. In other companies I’ve worked for I’ve always had other employees working who I knew I could count on or ask questions or even just joke with. I don’t know their names, and I have no reason to believe If I am assaulted or attacked on the clock that anyone from pharmacy would notice and call for help or try to intervene…the store is huge would they hear me scream? Or would someone find my body in the bathroom the next morning?
Pharmacy staff how can I get on your good side? Are there things I can do to be helpful for you in my role where I will be noticed? Do I introduce myself with Treats/drinks? I wanna be your friend and I don’t want to die at CVS

2022.01.21 11:36 FantasticPiglet What's farming like in Indiana now?
Both sets of my grandparents were farmers, and then after WWII they joined the workforce in the booming economy. They had land around Lafayette, Rensselaer, and South Bend, mostly. Sometimes I wish I could have inhereted that land and farmed it myself, but I understand things are not that easy. I grew up around farmers and their families seemed to have an OK life.

2022.01.21 11:36 zirconst Three years of slow, part-time study as a busy parent.
Three years ago, in my early 30s, I decided to start learning Japanese. My motivations were (1) to challenge myself, since I totally failed to absorb Spanish after 4 years of middle/high school study, and (2) for business purposes. I've created products that were surprisingly successful in Japan, which had led to more partnerships there, plus lots of reviews and social media buzz... in Japanese, of course.
The catch is that I'm also extraordinarily busy. I'm lucky to have one hour of actual free time per day when my kids are asleep, and I have to weigh carefully whether I want to pursue hobbies, or just sleep.
So, suffice it to say, things have not been fast! I'm just bordering on N4 level in most areas, though more like N3 in lanji, thanks to wanikani. By and large I'm only able to get in about 2 hours per week at the moment (though before my 2nd kid, that was more like 3 or 4) and I choose to spend most of that in a weekly Zoom lesson with a native speaker who I've known since the start.
It's definitely frustrating at times, because even though I've been chipping away at it, I obviously can't follow full speed native conversations, understand most of what's said in any anime, etc. But, by and large, I'm pleased with where I am. Every week my teacher and I can talk for 30 minutes in Japanese and I can talk about my life, my work, my kids, etc. I can express myself - if clumsily- with some confidence. And in a slower conversation, or with easier reading material, I can understand a lot.
The exciting part is being able to start lifting the fog around the aforementioned social media posts and reviews. Obviously, they often have kanji and vocabulary I don't know, so I read them with jisho.org open in another tab. But... I'll get the gist. It's no longer totally incomprehensible. I can even communicate back in some cases.
Would I like to have 2 hours of peace and quiet every day to study? Yes. But am I happy to have this hobby at all? Also yes. I'm proud of what I've been able to do in the time I have, and I genuinely enjoy it.
So in short... if you're early on, or you're a busy parent with a career, or both: you can do this. If learning Japanese is like ascending a tall mountain, I might only be 50 feet up, but I'm still here and climbing, one step at a time.
